View Full Version : [ubuntu] A CD ripper for Ubuntu that doesn't make me type ~/folder/%A/% etc

I tried Grip tonight. This was not a pleasant experience trying to decipher the code for how to specify the directory where I wanted my mp3s and what information I wanted in the file name. Strikes me as masochistic. I could possibly see some people wanting to input the file path that way, but the filename prefs? Why?

Is there another CD ripper out there that will allow me to check boxes for filename prefs and click a "browse" button for my encode directory?

Thanks!

Synaptics says it's already installed, but I can't find it in my main menu anywhere. I don't see it in the add/remove applications either. Where the heck is it?
