I've installed Ubuntu via wubi on a WinXP VM on my Ubuntu system, hows that?

I was testing how well Wubi was of course.

I want to try this now. Sounds like a good boredom killer.

I've had Windows XP running in virtual box, which was running in a virtual boxed version of Linux Mint, which was running in native Ubuntu. It wasn't even all that slow!

I tried running Minix 3 today in VirtualBox 2.0.2 but all disk i/o operations were too slow for it to be very usable.

If I were really bored, I would attempt to install Minix3 on real hardware on a real disk partition.

Call back when you run Wine in Cygwin in Wine.

I'm counted out too, because afaik it's not even possible :P

One time, I ran Shareware Quake inside the Windows version of DOSbox running under WINE on an Ubuntu 7.10 bootable CD with less than 512 MB of RAM. I had to turn the resolution down to 320 by 240, but after that it was actually pretty playable.
