hi,
I just installed the latest version of ubuntu(clean-with xp-installed xp first) and now have two ubuntu installations.
I'm not new to ubuntu, have dual booted before, and set my partions up beforehand.
With this new version of ubuntu, when I boot into grub, I get the first os selection(windows xp-ubuntu) and if I choose xp I get a second grub screen offering me the same choices.
When I'm in xp and go to my C drive, there is an ubuntu folder and a wubidr file.
When I boot directly to linux, I have a media folder with a second ubuntu file system showing up.
If any one knows what I'm describing, can I edit my boot.ini in xp for just xp(Ubuntu does show up in the boot.ini) and just delete the ubuntu file?
Any help is appreciated, thanks
tom

It seemed that you originally downloaded wubi. Have you deleted that from your Windows partition? If not, then go to Windows add/remove and delete it from there.
