Hello all,

I have dual boot Ubuntu and Vista. As I was installing Ubuntu i did not think that I would need swap so i did not reserve any space for swap. Bur right now I realized I need a swap partition in order to hibernate my Ubuntu. I tried to hibernate my Ubuntu it does not work. I am thinking it is because lack of swap place.

Can I create a swap partition for Ubuntu which is currently installed right now. I dont want to harm my data on the disk. So I wanted to ask your recommendations.

Thanks for any help!

I would make the ram 1 GB. It would be unlikely that you would need more.
