The press conference could have been better.. A bit boring and unclear for the regular guy I think, about that open-source stuff. I liked that he said "tinkering with Linux and such..", that means that Linux obviously means much for Google. :)

Let's hope they get a good website up and running. This device (and it's presentation) is kinda vital for Androids coming market share.

HTC Dream with Android's definitely gonna be a competent combatant to the iPhone. Looking forward to see how things will progress in the real market.

This is a combatant with the iPhone, not the Dream. Atleast, if it ran Android.
