I just need to know how I can edit the /etc/fstab to make a partition to be mounted with ext3.

I made a topic about GRUB not installing here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=924011 , and got some advice about it. I made a partition formatted as ext2, and then converted it to ext3. I asked for advice in the topic about this question, and bumped it, but got no response.
I need the answer urgently. Don't ignore me!

Um... So how could I mount the partition 'sda3' with 'ext3', step by step?

It's not too hard, have a look at

and bodhi's fstab is well worth the time
