Hi, I am running ubuntu 8.04.1 + gnome (x86_32)
After I did some screen rotation setting, and changed back, the taskbar is missing after reboot.
I am lucky that I have a shortcut key for terminal, I can start a terminal even the taskbar is missing.
I run pid gnome-panel, and it gives me nothing, which means gnome-panel is not running (indeed)
If I run gnome-panel, I can see everything is back, but I have to do this every time I reboot.
Any solution to this?
Thanks!
