So maybe not having xp available is considered a blessing, not a problem, when I'm on Ubuntu forums!
However, I want dual boot for now b/c there are many tweaks needed to get ubuntu fully functional on eeepc & the xp works quite well.
I installed nbr version via bootable usb using UNetbootin technique & all seemed to go well except that on startup, my xp is listed last but selecting it gives an error:
A disk read error occurred. Press Ctrl/Alt/Del to restart.
So, my ubuntu partition is working but I can't get into the xp.
Any idea why this occurred?
Also, windows is on partition /dev/sda1; /dev/sda4 is extended; /dev/sda5 is ext3 and /dev/sda6 is linux swap.
Thanks for any pointers/explanations.
