Hi!

I wanted to create something like this

http://www.kde-look.org/content/preview.php?preview=1&id=86903&file1=86903-1.jpg&file2=&file3=&name=QCometen3+(port+of+KCometen3+to+Qt4)

http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/QCometen3+(port+of+KCometen3+to+Qt4)?content=86903

with Java. Not the screen saver part just the visual effects. What technology api or whatever would you use?

Thanks!

I was thinking of using Java 3D but Im not really sure. I want a technology thats easy to learn, I dont want to learn open gl for this.

Graphics isnt my area but...

Maybe something like JMonkey would be helpful.

BTW: You are going to have to learn tough things sooner or later if you want to move forward with your programming.
