I'm almost certain I saw it on Criminal Minds, when they said whoa, this is all Linux based. The Orange color was obvious, as well as Gnome. I've also heard that Jamie Heineman, from Mythbusters uses Linux, but not sure which distro.

Well, bill clinton talked about it..

though he had the original meaning. Do think though that the philosophy is gaining a revival. Its different to 'being good' or 'obeying the law'. In a world where people have different values, ubuntu, is an important concept which helps us have tolerance of others.

Jamie Hyneman of the Mythbusters recommended Ubuntu in this article (http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/upgrade/4243994.html?page=3) he wrote. (Sorry for linking straight to page 3, but it's the relevant page).

Donald Knuth

From InformIT (http://www.informit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1193856):

I currently use Ubuntu Linux, on a standalone laptop—it has no Internet connection. I occasionally carry flash memory drives between this machine and the Macs that I use for network surfing and graphics; but I trust my family jewels only to Linux. Incidentally, with Linux I much prefer the keyboard focus that I can get with classic FVWM to the GNOME and KDE environments that other people seem to like better. To each their own.
