Error installing ubuntu

hi, i have installed Ubuntu on two different computers in my house and they work just fine and i want to install it in a new computer that i have but it always shows me an error message. this is what it sais:
"BusyBox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-5ubuntu12) Built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands"

these are the specs of the computer...
abit IP-35 Pro Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.45

the hard drive has two partitions created a ntfs for windows and ext2 for ubuntu(which wont install)

if anybody knows what the problem can be please let me know asap...i really want to install it in this computer

i too am having this problem i can sometimes able to boot on .15 a variation in grub i dont know the difference i just tried it worked. i would like a fix as i am new. My other cpu an old hp worked fine on the up grade from 7.4. i did the same on this on this one at the same time. it is an old xp amd 2k with ati video card and a add on pci raid card
plese help
