whoooaah, dude. Now, some people really identify with their computers, but this is worrying :D
P.S. is ubuntu REALLY a noun? Isn't it primarily an adjective? e.g. we really have ubuntu

"Hi, I'm a mac"
"Hello, I'm a pee cee"
"Hi I'm an ubuntu"
Now does it make sense?

"...an u..." is a tongue twister. Can't "u" use "a"? So much nicer.

What, you mean like I am a Ubuntu? No, you can't do that. A goes before words hat start with consonants, an goes before words that start with vowels. Just like you couldn't say I am a elite (if you don't get that, see the movie "Hackers") or I am a elephant. you also cannot say I am an noun or I am an rock. Feels bad in the mouth and sounds stupid in the ears.
Oh yeah, I am an Ubuntu and a receptionist.

"I'm Linux."
http://reverendted.files.wordpress.com/2007/03/mac-pc-linux-transparent.png
Though, the Novell ads are flawed in the sense that "Mac" and "PC" are computers, while "Linux" is an operating system. All the Mac/PC/Linux spoofs have been going about it the wrong way. There should an ad where PC walks in wearing a new outfit and starts talking about how he switched to Linux.

Im not a pc, I am a human being. That part of the ad is kinda interesting. He says he is not a human doing or a human thinking. Is Microsoft saying that its users don't think or do, they are just "being"? Or maybe I just missed the subtext. :)

However, you also say a uniform and a unicorn. So it depends how you pronounce ubuntu. It'll be an ooo-buntu, or a yoo-buntu.
Yeah, I'm an ubuntu... a ubuntu... I AM UBUNTU! HEAR ME ROAR! GRRR!!

But what if you accidentally pronounce Ubuntu as if it was you-buntu? "A ubuntu" might work then.....
By the way, a running joke in our house is "I am the universe", "no, it's my turn".... (something to do with something someone once said when they were having a bad day and were feeling tested by the pressures of life)
