IF all your friends do is browse the web and use IM but still get viruses you should trick them into using the new "virus free Windows" http://sourceforge.net/project/screenshots.php?group_id=173462&ssid=39020 :D
I did this to my friend and he fell for it and still thinks its windows:D I know for people who use computers more they will probably notice right away when all their favorite programs dont work.

Well it cae in handy for my grandparents and my friends who only use the computer for one thing...internet exploring. and even email clients

It would be pretty useful if you have a family member who refuses to let you use Linux on the system.

Deception is never the answer. Education is the answer. If they have viruses all the time and you can't convince them to either a) change their browsing habits or b) install some other OS, then let them keep the viruses :)
