Well maybe. I don't think anyone knows for certain the release date. But T-Mobile and Google are holding a press conference tomorrow morning in NYC to Announce the G1 and I'm particularly excited.

If this is actually available tomorrow, I'll be dumping Sprint pretty quickly.

Some say it will be available by the end of the month or by early September but no one knows for certain. From what I hear, it will be available for pre-order to existing T-Mobile customers before it's initially released though it's all speculation.
