Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to take away the gnome/ubuntu/mainmenu icon away from the main-menu bar?

here is an example,

http://gnome-look.org/content/preview.php?preview=1&id=89937&file1=89937-1.jpg&file2=&file3=&name=Fresh+Light+Gnome+Theme

thanks in advance!

you will need a different theme, see

I may even try a few things now... cool themes. Moomex Ultimatum seems like the go.

Hello,

All you have to do is go to System - Preferences - Appearance - Interface Tab and uncheck the box "Show Icons In Menus".
Please note that this will disable all icons in your main menu. However the menu you posted as an example seems to have that tweak.

Best Regards,
