Hi everyone,
I am attempting to do a persistent install on a USB memory stick of Ubuntu 8.04.1 from the live cd as per the instructions located here:
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/2008/05/08/usb-ubuntu-804-persistent-install-via-the-live-cd/
I followed the instructions exactly, then attempted boot. At first everything looked good, but after the Ubuntu splash screen with the bar going back and forth, I was brought to a black screen with a command line. I did the lilo thing and reinstalled the MBR on the USB stick. Same result.
I booted back up from the live cd and looked at the USB stick, and the only thng on there is LOST+FOUND folder..
I wonder if they skipped a step?
Thanks in advance..
