Welcome to Ubuntuforums and Ubuntu community! I believe there's not even requirement to have computer running Ubuntu to be part of the community, all that's needed is will and attitude. :)

If there's any problems installing Ubuntu, post a thread in relevant forum and we'll be glad to help you as well as we can.

May I ask, how did you find Ubuntu? I guess I saw it first on some tech/Linux site, where it was chosen as distribution of year, or maybe it was in Linux Journal.

You know, I really cant remember! How embarrassing :D.

I think I came across it in a magazine as well. I also remember seeing it in a review of Ubuntu VS Yellowdog VS Mac OS X.
