Hey guyz
i recently migrated from xp to hardy.now i have a question.isnt there a update package available for ubuntu which contains all the recent updates like there are service packs for xp.plz help because i love experimenting with my system & i format my system approximately every week.

This is exactly what I am after also, my dedicated laptop will not connect via wireless until I update it, however I don't have a hardwire anymore.
Essentially, I need the updates available offline and I'm sure they exist, I just can't find them.
Any help is greatly appreciated,

I had to end up finding an ethernet cable and hardwiring at my University. It's updating now, and as soon as I get the new drivers, my wireless will work and I can update the rest.
I did, however, find multiple mentions online (google) regarding offline installations using modified versions of older package managers, and a few references to abstract ways for updating through xp but they seemed too much trouble with my easy way out =).
Godspeed Shikharus, and keep trying. You won't always get responses here, and you'll have to figure it out which can be hella frustrating, but usually everyone is great here.
