Howto install Ubuntu, hardware drivers, updates and how to enable desktop effects

Goodafternoon, I have made a Howto for installing Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, how to install the updates and hardware drivers and how to enable the desktop effects. It's my first howto, so i hope it's good!

Moved to Installation & Upgrades, as tutorials should contain most of their content directly in the post itself.

And some may find it ironic that you posted your tutorial as a .doc. I'll leave that up to you to figure out why. :)
