New Microsoft Ad: More like an Ubuntu Ad?

This new Microsoft ad is a very Ubuntu/Linux type ad. If you ignore the fact that it is for Windows it makes perfect sense.

I mean, look at the theme - all different people connecting and doing different things and they are humans (in the sense that they need things simple).

Say, that sounds a lot like the Ubuntu Linux attitude.

I think Microsoft's "I'm a PC" campaign is just the opposite. Their ad depicts a bunch of people who have been taken over by their computers (oops! their Genuine Windows Licenses) to the point that they think they are computers. They have basically lost their souls to these madenningly complicated contraptions.

I'm a human being. My computer is a window, not a cage. I want an operating system that accepts me being human, not one that turns me into something else.
