UIM was working fine. Then, I installed SCIM because I needed to write Chinese and was not aware that UIM did the job. So, I switched back to UIM, but it never seems to work right anymore. In order to be able to do anything with it, I completely have to reinstall it everytime. What appears to be the problem is that it is not starting when I login. I tried adding it to the System > Preferences > Sessions, but to no avail. Any suggestions?
