Bluetooth

I have the bluetooth server and bluetooth file sharing programs installed in Kubuntu. I also have an HP BT500 bluetooth adapter. I'm trying to make them work, but it keeps telling me that it can't do bluetooth.

Has anybody had any luck doing bluetooth in Kubuntu????? If so, how do I make it work?????

I've discovered now that the problem was the phone that I was using. I now have an LG Shine, and it will pick up the computer and pair to it.:) I still do not know how to transfer files to and from it.:(

I would like to be able to take photos or video with the phone and transfer them to the computer. I would also like to be able to transfer mp3 files to the phone to use as ringtones. Can I do those things via Bluetooth???? If I can, how do I do it???????

Anybody know how to do that???? Also, if I can, how do I make ringtones out of songs?????????
