So about a month ago, I got Verizon's FiOS. They installed it on the home computer and everything worked, except the wireless router seems to be encrypted or something. Let me explain: On Ubuntu in my room, I had a fully working wireless connection, with the Linkskys Router. When they installed FiOS, they put in a new router and Ubuntu 8.04 cannot connect to it. When I click to connect, it asks for a WEP Key. I put in the one listed on the bottom of the router, and it tries to connect, although it fails. Then it asks me again. My Wii connects to the router fine, and only with a manual connect did my DS connect, but even manually putting in all the info, it does not work. Please help ;.;

I think a FiOS router has a hex key and not a passphrase. When you try to connect to the Internet does it not ask you whether you are entering a WEP passphrase, a WEP hex key or an ASCII key (it will be a drop down menu)? Choose hex key and then enter the key printed on the router.
