Hello

A random question

I was just checking the meaning of "Intrepid" through various dictionaries, and all of them define intrepid as brave, courageous, bold etc, but I was under the impression that intrepid also implies a high level of ability and/or experience.

Am I wrong in this?

Thanks:confused:

I've never heard it used in that manner.

Latin intrepidus from in- ("not") + trepidus ("anxious, nervous")

I would define it as "fearless"

Edit: After reading the wikipedia link, my new favorite word is "intrepidity", closely followed by "Intrepidness".
