Gutsy7.10~ how do I uprade Firefox in Terminal?

i have firefox 3.0 installed and i have firefox 3.0.1.tar.bz2. i want to know how to install firefox 3.0.1 using terminal? Thank you in advance =D

You dont need to install the update. The Firefox update should arrive soon. Its done via Automatic Update.

If you cant wait, then you can compile the tarball which you downloaded. It can be a tough job, but if you have patience, go for it. Or wait for the updates to be available in update servers.
