Well, Jabber uses the XMPP protocol, which is open-standard, so it's not like they are going to ruin our communication protocol.

That is good for business and Jabber has less resources available compared to Cisco who is a larger company. Plus I believe the founder of Jabber wanted some instant satisfaction in his/her's pocket.
