Hi i run hardy and I am thinking of buying a memory card reader for my custom built pc and Before i buy one i want to ask which ones work and don't work.

Memory card reader? Like SD / Compact Flash / etc? If so, most any usb one should work just fine, at least in my experience with mostly cheapo ones bought on eBay. (About 10 multi card readers)

Yes it the one with sd and other cards and I'm not having it usb, it's going to be a the one you connect inside the machine like the cd-rom (sorry it's just hard to explain)

If so, I believe it still requires being plugged into the appropriate connectors on your motherboard, (in this case, it looks like your motherboard's usb connector) so technically it should work the same as the external ones.

Well, like I said before, almost all of them that work through the usb connector on your motherboard (like the one I listed) should work just dandy. I'm not making any promises, but it should be fine with Hardy. :)
