I got an Intel E8400(dual-core) and I noticed that it does not run as fast as when I run with on windows.

Is there anyway to install some drivers to it uses both CPU??

Thanks

P.S. Does unbuntu hardy comes with dual-core support out of the box???

Dual Core is not the same as Core 2 Duo. In Core 2 Duo you can install 64 bit Ubuntu and it would be a flash. In the meantime; maybe and SMP kernel would do the job for you, which I think is incorporated in the 8.04.1 kernel.
