i sitch my cpu froma intel to a amd, it works fine as of right now. But to ploblems strike me.

1) My resolute is mess up and i can't select the actrully resolute (1440,900) useing (1280, 1024)
2) Wat programs do i have to ditch that work for intel and whih do i need for the new amd?

Since you switched your cpu you have must switched motherboard as well too. And in these cases it is highly advisable to reinstall your OS i.e. Ubuntu. As for programs, they run no matter what cpu you have. You need first a new clean installation of operating system. Do the backup first.

And i just found out that my cd player isn't connecting to the rest of the computer. Figures... so reformating is out of the idea. i think i connected it wronge, and th user guide isn't helping.
