Anyone using their Ubuntu box for home automation? Like an on screen program that allows you to interact with all the heat/light/electronics in your home. I'm thinking about setting this up and am looking for ideas.

I've seen videos where Linux MCE apparently handles home automation out-of-the-box. Don't know it's reality score, though.
