This may be in the wrong section, please mods move it if it is?

Here's what I want to do:

I was reading a blog entry (haven't got the link, sorry) about setting up "Ubuntu on Tap" at events like Cons, etc. Basically users can hook their laptop/desktop up to an ethernet port, select Boot from Network in their BIOS, and enjoy some Ubuntu-love-action as it's installed remotely on their machine.

I want to try to take this a step further and set up a network install server on my laptop such that I can hook it up to someone else's laptop at say, the local bookstore/coffeshop, and have Ubuntu-love-action flow through a crossover ethernet cable and onto their waiting hard drive.

I'm sure this can be done, or at least, I'm pretty darned sure. Anybody know how to implement this?

Thanks!
