hello guys,

I got an HP Pavilion 6700 Intel Core Duo T5550 Cpu with 1.83ghz, 3gb ram space, and 32-bit OS on of course WVista. It is a true Ubuntu compatible and won't give me any trouble? I'm just a few days left to install it. Please let me know ASAP. Thanx so much.

Of course. I use Easy BCD for the Vista Bootloader though. Plenty of threads that will tell you how to dual boot with Vista if you need it.

the best way to see how your computer will run ubuntu is to use a live cd. then you can try it without making any changes to your computer.

HPs for the most part run good, out of the box, But as the user above suggests, use the live cd for a while... You don't want to make a decision on the fly that you will regret later.
