View Full Version : [ubuntu] GRUB lost XP

I have Ubuntu 7.10 on my first partition and put WinXP on the second part. After installing XP, GRUB wouldn't work. I fixed it using the community docs but now XP doesn't show up in GRUB, and I get a "can't mount volume" error when I try to look at it through Ubuntu. Grub still works, but the only choice is Ubuntu. All the documentation I can find tells how to install Ubuntu after Windows, but I already had (and LOVE) Ubuntu and unfortunately needed Windows for iTunes, which is the only drawback to my iPhone. If anyone knows how to run iTunes under Ubuntu or has an alternative, I'd like to hear.
Thanks!
