I have a problem, more of a minor annoyance really, with thumbnails in Nautilus (in Ubuntu 8.04).

Thumbnails for video and pdf files among others look okay when at 100% zoom, but become very blurred when zoom is set to 400%. Picture formats such as jpg, png and bmp, as well as the standard icons remains sharp at 400% zoom.

If I manually add a thumbnail to a file (Properties and click the thumbnail and browse for a picture). The new thumbnail will be the same size as folder and file icons, or about half that of generated thumbnails, but will remain sharp when zoom is at 400%.]

I tried messing with the thumbnail resolution in gconf, but that didn't help much.

Where should I look next to make all my thumbnails sharp at 400%, and maybe make also all thumbnails be the same size as other icons?
