I'm having a bad time getting this to stream.
What I've done so far;
Thought I had to many plugins in Firefox so disabled them all.
Tried pasting this link into VLC,Amarok, Audacious, gxine, realplayer11,vlc and nothing It just won't go.
As asked a friend to stream it and it will on his windows machine(which I don't have) but not on his Ubuntu machine.

What next. I'm determined that I'm not going to do a dual boot.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated

basically, if you've tried all the plugins and media players, chances are you are out of luck. if you dont want to dual boot, try virtualbox with xp.

With a little of trickery, I found the actual URL of the stream (don't ask me how ;)):

http://216.7.223.11:80/pd/fastcast/091208/audio.asf

I can play it just fine with totem-xine.

The stream's name is Powered by TELUS - Fastcast with ~37mins duration.

Thanks Kostkon, you are exactly right; This plays on most of my players now so the question I have to ask is how to extract the underlying link? The links will be changing every week
Any hints or tools available?
Thanks again
