Hey guys, this is my first time on the Ubuntu forums and I am pretty n00b when it comes to any Linux stuff.
I have an eeepc which I've put Ubuntu 8.04 on via LiveUSB and I got the idea to put Hardy on a 160Gb drive I had lying around in my desktop for dual booting (Vista and Ubuntu).
I have the livecd iso (which ive burnt to cd) and I installed (I think) Hardy onto the blank 160Gb.
However, when I booted, it gave me the option to choose between booting to Vista or Ubuntu.
I choose Ubuntu and it takes me to the loading screen then drops me to a command line interface (dunno what to call it)
It basicly says:
BusyBox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-5ubuntu12) Build-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
(initramfs)
((this is not exactly what I see - I just pulled this off google - but everything but the numbers are the same))
How do I get past this?
TIA
