i don't know what it is happen, i am using xubuntu Hardy (updated) i386, i have the next error:

1- i going to xfce4 menu
2- click on "Leave/Logout" button (i don't know the english translation)
3- i see the GDM Login prompt

i can't see the logout prompt option (halt, logout, switch, hibernate, suspend), the button send me to GDM Login Prompt directly.

i tried:

1- reinstall gdm
2- remove gdm config files, and reinstall again
3- in the gdmsetup i have checked the option "Show the Action Menu"

i don't know what more to do, i searched in google but i can't find a solution.

I think I understand. Try going to your Xfce menu > Settings > Settings Manager > Sessions and Startup.
From there make sure the bottom three options are checked.
