Hi,

visit this (http://ubuntu.com/products/GetUbuntu/download). You can just download and burn the iso file as an image and boot and install the OS. also go here (https://help.ubuntu.com/) for installation and other kind of stuff. You can also search our forum to get to know installation of ubuntu in your box, already had many solved threads. Also are you going to install ubuntu in Desktop or in a laptop. If it is laptop go to appropriate forum and search first. If you dint get anything (mostly that will not be the case), post your doubts and problems here. Also tell me what is your present OS in your box.

you can use gnome-looks.org and the AWN dock to get the look and feel of Mac OSX
