I have an Acer laptop 5920G that has Ubuntu hardy installed. Today I installed KDE4 to see how it works, and the problem I have is that the sound wheel doesn't work.
I remember having this same problem on Gnome when I first installed linux, but I quickly solved it. I cannot seem to get it to work on KDE4. The speakers work fine, but the only way to adjust volume is through the terminal.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
(the sound wheel brings up a small sound bar on the window when working... On gnome it used to show up but not change the sound.... but on KDE, not even that bar comes up)
