View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu 64 bit java Scottrade

September 15th, 2008, 04:13 PM
Last week I upgraded from 8.04 32 bit to 64 bit when I upgraded my CPU to an AMD 64 X2 4400. I use Scottrade for stocks and was able to use the java streaming charts with 32 bit but now they do not open. I don't get an error, the charts just don't open.

Any ideas...

Have you installed ubuntu-restricted-extras?

System->Admin-> Synaptics

Might help.

Bucky, I don't think I have but I don't find it in Synaptic. I'll see what I can find about it and try it.

edit: Found it and installing. Will see if it makes a difference
