Hi all,
I've been asked to look into server virtualization using a cluster of servers - it's a bit complicated so here it goes for the explanation...
We want a cluster of 2 servers (for this example) running Ubuntu server and xen (possible xen, give me recommendations). The servers will have access to some centralised storage. On this cluster we want a virtual server (let's say Windows 2008).
We want the virtual server to load balance and such among the 2 physical servers (with Ubuntu on), but so the virtual server only sees the virtual machine.
Have I lost everyone or do you understand (it's a bit tricky to explain).
Anyhow, if you know what I'm on about can you give me any links on how to run through this - if you haven't got a clue what I'm on about please ask me questions and I'll try my best to explain.
