I just reformatted and put Ubuntu on my laptop, and I know from past experience that the minimized programs are supposed to change color to notify of something happening within them. Yet... they aren't, and I'm left pretty much screwed as far as using programs like MUD clients or Pidgin, since I have no idea past an audio cue when someone has messages me.
Please, /please/. I really need to get this working. :(
