Hello all,
the following issue is cracking my head for the past weekend, and i hope someone here can help me out with this hassle.
I want to use Ubuntu Server Edition 8.0.4 (hardy heron) with:
- Apache 2
- PHP5 (preferred) or PHP4
- MySQL 4.1
The reason is some specifc application needs this setup. When i want to apt-get mysql-server it now automatically gets mysql-server-5.1 which is not what i want.
i wonder what the best approach is what to do. I have ruined about 2 installation by adding Debian or other universe sources in my /etc/apt/sources.list or created an unmaintanable situation with dependencies.
if the above is not doable it might be possible to downgrade to php4 aswell, so hope someone can help me.
Thanks
