Hey there,

I'm new to this forum but have been messing with linux for about 6 months now so I'm still pretty new to this. I just switched over from Mint. Now thats an amazing distro but I wanted to try something new so I tried Ubuntu. My question comes for the whole compiz. In Mint I had the option to click on "Advanced Desktop Settings" and now I don't seem to have that or maybe I over looked it somewhere? I've been looking for it but can't seem to find it. I know there should be one because I've been reading but if someone could help me out thanks in advance.

You have to install ccsm from Synaptic otherwise known as compiz config settings manager

or you can type in a terminal
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
then it will be under system>preferences>compizconfig settings manager
