HI,

I have got my Laptop pre-installed with Xp. I had 2 partition (one C and another D). now I installed Ubuntu in "C". at the starting of installation it's asks me for space for Ubuntu so i happily alloted it with 5gb space.

Well after many days of fighting & lighting i finally can able to start most of my windows applications, servers (mysql), Php etc in Ubuntu.

Now the real problem came into picture....after few installation like photoshop, autocad etc... it's says that my alloted space is full.

well is there any way to increase my alloted space for ubuntu from 5gb to 20 GB.

root@deepak1uw-laptop:~# df -h

4.3G 4.2G 0 100% /
varrun 759M 112K 759M 1% /var/run
varlock 759M 0 759M 0% /var/lock
udev 759M 52K 759M 1% /dev
devshm 759M 12K 759M 1% /dev/shm
lrm 759M 38M 722M 5% /lib/modules/2.6.24-16-generic/volatile

gvfs-fuse-daemon 4.3G 4.2G 0 100% /root/.gvfs

One more thing.... why cant i able to access the windows files of the same partition where ubuntu is installed while i can easily access my another partition's windows file easily.

In my case i installed ubuntu in My C drive & now i cant able to see my C drive windows files. but i can easily access my D drive windows files and applications. is these some way to see them or it's not possible?
