evolution mail only downloads 1 message at a time

I am running ubuntu 7.04
evolution 2.10.1

When I hit "send/receive" it will only download 1 msg at a time.

I'm not sure if it may be because the pop account I'm accessing has over 5K msgs

I did check all the preferences and everything seem in order.

any ideas ?

ok all of a sudden its downloading .... :confused:
