error msg: not a valid install cd?

I am trying to load ubuntu. I keep getting an error message that the cd in the cdrom is not a valid installation cd. I copied the server.iso image from the ubuntu web site. What can be wrong?

You need to burn the ISO as an image. See http://psychocats.net/ubuntu/iso
