Hi i just built a nas server(its intel based with 4 640gb sata's) and was installing ubuntu server on it. When setting up the software raid (im going with raid 5) i get the error "There are not enough Raid partitions available for you selected configuration. You have 3 Raid partitions available but your configuration requires 4 partitions." I dont get why it says i only have three, because when i format the drives all four are formatted for raid. ive been fighting with this problem for a solid day and a half and havent gotten anywhere, The guide i used to set up the raid was this one http://knowledge76.com/index.php/Ubuntu_Server_Install_With_Software_RAID. I believe i was successful the first time but further down the line i made a mistake and had to start over and since then i havent gotten it to work. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. :)
