the older versions of Ubuntu had four workspaces (which i loved) but 8.04 only has two is there a way to make 8.04 have four like the older versions. I consider myself a new user because even know I started using linux (ubuntu 7.something) a year or so ago i got busy with other things and just now got back to making the switch. Im not scared of using the terminal but i am new at it so ill need a step by step if i need to use it.

Thank ahead of time for your help;

Right-click the workspace switcher and choose properties, you can change the settings there.

Just a note of caution - change the columns, not the rows. Intuitively, if you pick 2 columns and 2 rows, you should have 4 workspaces, but there is a bug. Pick the number of columns (4) in your case, and in mine as well.
