I have a Lenovo T400 Thinkpad running Vista Ultimate that I'm trying to dual boot with Ubuntu 8.04.1. I've been following the instructions provided on apcmag (http://apcmag.com/how_to_dualboot_vista_with_linux_vista_installed_f irst.htm).
I have one partion currently, and I shrank it using Vista's Disk management, to leave me with 28 Gigs of unallocated space. I then booted from the Ubuntu install CD and proceeded through the dialogs until the installer attempted to load the partitioner. Then it stopped doing anything. It didn't freeze per se, but nothing happened for quite a while. What am I doing wrong?
